I became interested in office admin as a high school student when my then family physician asked if I was interested in a part-time admin job within his office. I soon realized how much I loved the work.
After high school, I initially went on to George Brown College enrolling in a Property Management Diploma Program but my heart strings pulled me into pursuing a Medical Office Administration Diploma instead. After graduating, I soon began working steadily for the next 15 years in varying and diverse hospital programs at Hillcrest Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and University Health Network.
After our second child, my husband and I decided to make the move from Toronto to Durham, which gave me the wonderful opportunity of being a stay at home mom to our two beautiful children for the next 6 years.
I knew the day would come when I would return to work and I am thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic team at New Life Midwives while working with such lovely clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy family time with my husband, two children and our dog Cooper. I love to cook, sing, read and hike. Our family is all about enjoying different experiences and outings, and watching it all through our kids' eyes.
